There is no limit to the number of crew at any event and we are always hungry for more! Find out about crewing at Dumnonni here.
Dumnonni normally runs one larger event (80 players) a year. This runs the first May bank holiday and is called Outlore. We also run 2 to 4 smaller ones (20 – 40 players) a year. All events normally take place at our Okehampton site.
If you are looking to come along to one of our events, please take a moment to complete the member registration form as soon as possible.
To make things a bit more logistically manageable, we have decided to formalise the process of requesting an In Character camp space for events.

Please provide the names of those included in that camp space and the size of your tent or awning.
Requests for camping spaces can be sent a month before the event. This allows us to take better stock of what site changes will have been made before the event and what the player list looks like.
Please note that space is limited and whilst we will always try and fit everyone in, this will not always be possible.

Playing costs £110 for the weekend.
As most events sell out very quickly, we allocate places on a first come first served basis.
There are two exceptions to this:
1. Support slots: These are places which are given as a thank you to people who have made things or done work for the club, or for refs to have an occasional time playing. These do not count against the event cap, but on occasion are capped themselves, to avoid too many in any one event.
2. Priority characters: These are characters who are required for a particular event. For example, one year’s event about Black-shields allowed anyone playing a Black-shield character to book in advance. The high king is another such character.
To avoid block bookings swamping an event, each email booking for Outlore can include up to five people, and each email booking for the smaller events can include up to two people.
Booking is open throughout the year. Outlore bookings open on the 1st Wednesday of January and bookings for smaller events open on the 1st Wednesday after the previous event. Bookings can be made from 9pm on the date bookings open (dates are announced on the Events Page, Discord, and on Facebook). It is not uncommon for events to be fully booked within minutes.
Payment Information
Once you have booked, we will send you a confirmation email and ask how you want to pay.
If you have paid but then are unable to attend the event we will only give you a refund if we can sell your place, or for very exceptional circumstances we may give an event credit (though these are rare).
For Outlore you will have until 2 months before the event to pay (deadline 1st March), and for smaller events you will have until the 1st of the next month after bookings open (deadlines 1st July and 1st September), after which time your place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
Normally we will send you a Paypal invoice. Once we invoice you, you have until the above deadlines to pay, or we will have to pass your place to the next person on the waiting list.
